Reaching a limit tells you the allowance is exhausted. It does not explain which work used it. A small workload record can make the next plan decision more useful.
Keep the striking numbers attached to their examples
Julian Goldie recounts a builder with roughly 60 Bots who attributed 93% of usage to rereading chat. He also describes a case moving from 720 runs to about two. These are reported examples, not a general Grok Bot saving rate or a FoxAI measurement.
For a proposed trial, select one useful outcome, such as preparing a status report when its source changes. Log completed outputs, empty wake-ups, retries, elapsed time and the usage shown by the account over the same period. Preserve the displayed unit. A weekly percentage is not automatically a token count or a billed dollar amount.

Establish which allowance applies
The current plan guide separates the shared weekly pool and additional credits on The X Subscription from weekly usage and on-demand arrangements on legacy Cursor accounts. Identify your account path before borrowing a limit or spending rule from another plan.
Change one part of the job
Our first proposed comparison replaces unnecessary history with a concise handoff that points to required sources and unfinished work. Keep the earlier conversation and check that important conditions survive. A later comparison can consider a narrow supported event trigger instead of repeated empty checks. The routine documentation distinguishes scheduled and event-triggered work.
Use the same acceptance check after each change. Lower usage is not an improvement if the report loses required information. Eligible accounts show usage in Usage & Billing; the documentation points other users to their account page or administrator. Leave unavailable measurements unknown.
Finley’s assessment: first determine whether unnecessary work fell while useful output held steady. If a sound workflow still exceeds the allowance, there is a clearer basis for choosing a larger plan. This is a proposed evaluation, not a measured saving or an account change.
