Digitale Profis presents FLUX 3 Image Klein as a compact model for creating and editing images. Black Forest Labs released it on 15 October, and the channel includes it in its 29 October news roundup.

Combine references and choose the area

The model can generate a new image, edit an existing one and combine up to ten reference images. Marked areas specify where an element should appear or which part of the picture should change.

The channel uses a product photograph as an example: most of the picture may already work, while one object needs replacing. Through the API, pixel restoration also preserves regions that have not been edited.

A local option for smaller graphics cards

The weights are downloadable. Digitale Profis highlights the INT8 version, which Black Forest Labs says can run on NVIDIA graphics cards with as little as 8 GB of video memory, including through ComfyUI.

Two forms are offered: a base model for adaptation and a distilled version focused on faster generation. That gives local workflows a choice between a starting point for customization and an option designed for speed.

Weights, API and a demo

The release is covered by the FLUX Kommunity License. Alongside local use, the channel points to API access and a Hugging Face demo. The available versions and access routes are described in Black Forest Labs’ announcement.
